Tamenglong
Tamenglong functions as the district headquarters of the Tamenglong District in the Indian state of Manipur. It can easily be accessible through road transportation system. The entire region of Tamenglong contains hills, mountain ranges and slender valleys. There are small picturesque villages present on the summit of these hills.

At a distance of 2 Kms from this place, the Barak Waterfall is situated. One should definitely go and visit the lakes as well as the waterfall.

By Air. The nearest airport from Tamenglong is Imphal Airport (IMF) situated at a distance of about 150 km. The airport has been well connected with the nearby regions and is considered as the third largest airport in India. Once off the airport, you will need to cover the remaining distance by some means of public transportation available.
By Train. Manipur doesn’t have its own railway station. The nearest railway station is the Dimapur Railway Station situated (approx) 230 km away. It is located on the Lumding-Dibrugarh section serving Dimapur and its nearby regions.
